The renovation of the First Baptist Church facilities continues and is on schedule. If you have been at church in the last week or so, you have noticed that the construction of the new arrivalhood outside the Branyon Foyer is well underway. The former arrivalhood has been removed and preparation for the new construction has begun.
Work continues inside our facilities on the third floor and also in the Sanctuary. Work began June 12 on the renovation of the area used by Live Oak Morning School and also our younger children’s Sunday School classes. Soon work will begin inside the Branyon Foyer. Please remember that when you come to church during the week, you will need to enter the church offices through the Fanning Foyer, as the Branyon Foyer entrance will remain closed until about August 1.
In early to mid-July we will begin using classrooms on the third floor again in an unfinished condition. That will give Sunday School classes ample space for meeting as work begins in other parts of the building. By the end of July we will make announcements regarding our fall schedule and the adjustments to regular fall programming as the renovation moves toward the Fellowship Hall and surrounding areas.
Thank you for your continued generous support of the Regenerate campaign. Pledges paid now and gifts made that were not pledged are extremely valuable! To date we have not had to begin drawing on the line of credit approved by the congregation. That is entirely due to the ongoing generosity of the congregation.
Watch FBC publications for further updates on the renovation of the facilitiea!
