Wednesday Fellowship

Wednesday Night
Adult Discipleship Options
Winter/Spring 2017
Begins January 24

Option 1: 1 Corinthians Bible Study: led by Paul Baxley, meeting in the Fellowship Hall
* Dr. Baxley will also lead this study in 1 Corinthians on Tuesdays at 12:00 Noon beginning on Tuesday, January 16.

Option 2: Did God Kill Jesus? Book study and discussion led by Frank Granger, meeting in Room 6 on the third floor.
The book, Did God Kill Jesus?: Searching for Love in History’s Most Famous Execution, will be the basis for this topic. Author Tony Jones offers the opportunity to discover that there is more than one explanation for the reason for Jesus’ death.  The search includes the various meanings given in the Bible as well as through Christian history. According to Jones, “How we understand the cross also colors how we picture God, Jesus, ourselves, and our mission in the world and how we see others.” If you wish to reserve a copy of the book (cost at $10.00), please email Frank Granger.
