Our WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUPPERS  will resume on January 17 and will include dinner, children’s choirs, mission kids, adult discipleship, youth activities and sanctuary choir. Reservations are needed for the meal. We offer a choice of hot meal, salad bar with baked potato, and a children’s menu option. The cost of adult meals is $7.00. The cost of children’s meals is $3.50.  The supper line opens each week at 5:00 p.m. Dinner reservations may be made by a phone call to the church office, sign up by email, or sign up through our church website. SPECIAL NOTE: If you had previously signed up for standing reservations last August, we are asking that you please Re-Register for the Wednesday supper list.

ADULT DISCIPLESHIP also begins this Wednesday, January 17 at 6:00 p.m. There are two options:

Option 1: A Study in First Corinthians: led by Paul Baxley, meeting in the Fellowship Hall
* This will also be offered on Tuesdays at noon beginning January 16.
Option 2: Did God Kill Jesus? Book study and discussion led by Frank Granger, meeting in Room 6 on the third floor.
The book, Did God Kill Jesus?: Searching for Love in History’s Most Famous Execution, will be the basis for this discussion. Author Tony Jones offers the opportunity to discover that there is more than one explanation for the reason for Jesus’ death.  According to Jones, “How we understand the cross also colors how we picture God, Jesus, ourselves, and our mission in the world and how we see others.” If you wish to reserve a copy of the book (cost is  $10.00), please contact Frank Granger.
