For nearly 50 years, FBC has affirmed the equality of women leadership in the church. This practice is based on biblical principles. Maybe you know friends or family who hold the view, based on a reading of scripture, that women should be excluded from some roles. Equally Called is a 4-week study led by Frank Granger that will explore key biblical texts often used to justify limitations of women in ministry. Through the study we will articulate a biblical and theological basis for affirming the call of women to church leadership. The group will meet in the Rotunda at 4:30 p.m. beginning Sunday, September 24.
