Let’s Talk 2020: Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly

This will be our third experience to engage in a “Let’s Talk” series which brings us together as people of faith to have open, respectful, and searching conversations at the intersection of faith, life experience, and current issues. The series combines our sermons and worship experience with weekly small group conversations in an environment of listening to God and listening to one another through scripture, worship, and community.

Our theme, “Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly,” is based on Micah 6:8: He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Groups will begin meeting on September 20 and conclude the series on October 27.  You will remain with your group for the entire series. We will offer groups both in-person (limited to 12 people per group with masks required) to meet at FBC or via Zoom. Both options will meet on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. and Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at noon is in-person only. Sign up below for the meeting time and style (in-person or Zoom) of your choice.
