The mission of the Foundation of the First Baptist Church of Athens, Georgia is to:
- provide well-managed stewardship of funds in order to responsibly execute charitable distributions of funds with special attention to donors’ wishes.
- fund additional charitable initiatives that complement the mission and development focuses of First Baptist Church, promote the capacity of the Foundation as a charitable tool for investment.
- grant one-time “initiative” funds for a charitable program(s) in need of startup funding.
